It was the best one for those games, maybe it's not a silver bullet, but I think it's the best choice until the next issue. Older Snes9x cores (2005) are best for ROM hacks that took advantage of emulator innacuracies of the era they were created in. When you open it up there are no pre-installed cores (on PC), so you will need to go to the online updater and select them yourself. I just tested some games that it was going through some issues, some games that was working fine (so it's good if it keeps working fine) and testing if the fast forward works, because I use it for some games. BSNES and Mesen S are fantastic, but most my devices cant support these cores AND run-ahead, which is highly desirable whenever available. RetroArch can be overwhelming to newbies. ![]() It's not a super test with so many games using different things like using or not Mode 7, and it's not testing all the available cores. ![]()
